They plan the ideas, choose the characters and director, come up with the budget in which the movie is going to follow whilst in the making, call sheets, locations and other important factors.
They also work with the script writer after coming up with ideas in order to make sure that they come up with an interesting unique story which will gets people attention. Once the film has been made, they then distribute the film to different parts of the world depending on if they have enough money to do so; it is then viewed my a large number of people. While this is happening, they market in significant methods to what the film is about, it then gains popularity for the film which then turns in to profit/turnover.
